Gemino has absolutely convinced the judges: in the red dot design award, one of the most renowned international product competitions, the jury with its panel of highly respected experts has awarded Gemino with the “red dot: best of the best”, a prize strictly reserved for top design quality only.
After winning an iF product design award 2011, this "red dot: best of the best" award is already the second distinction for Handicare's Gemino rollator.
In the red dot award: product design 2011, the distinguished jury had 4,433 products to choose from when awarding this special prize. The awards are divided into three levels: honourable mention, red dot and red dot: best of the best. Only 2-3 products in each category are awarded with “best of the best”.
The red dot design award is a large and coveted international product design prize awarded by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany. The aim of the prize is to honour outstanding design quality and trendsetters. Winning products are presented in the red dot design museum on the premises of the Zollverein World Cultural Heritage site in Essen.
